Primary and relief opportunities
Matched to confirmed work and your availability

AllScope FM is inviting applications from people interested in general cleaning at local business and property premises. We are looking for primary cleaners and relief candidates and welcome relevant experience or transferable skills.

How work will be offered

We are building our client contracts and will match potential shifts to your availability and practical travel routes as work is confirmed. There are no guaranteed hours or confirmed start date at the application stage. Each accepted assignment will have a written site, schedule, paid hours and terms.

The work

The role is for general premises cleaning. Specialist industrial, hazardous-waste, machinery and unassessed work at height are outside this recruitment scope.

What we look for

A driving licence or your own car is not a blanket requirement. Tell us where and when you can travel. We will discuss reasonable adjustments through the business inbox.

Checks before you start

Every cleaner must complete our onboarding checks and receive AllScope approval before their first customer assignment. This also applies to relief cleaners, agency staff, subcontracted cleaners and replacement personnel.

DBS checks

Our company requirement for cleaning roles is a Basic DBS check, verified before deployment. A Basic check shows unspent convictions and conditional cautions. Standard or Enhanced checks are requested only where the particular role is legally eligible and requires that level.

You do not need an existing DBS certificate to apply. At the conditional-offer stage, we explain the required check, the application arrangements and secure verification. We normally require a certificate issued within three calendar months of initial verification / appointment and review requirements at least annually. These are AllScope review rules; DBS certificates have no official expiry date.

Having a criminal record does not automatically prevent you from working with us. A person assesses relevant information fairly against the role and gives you the opportunity to discuss it.

Keep sensitive information out of your application

Please do not include criminal-record information, DBS certificates or certificate numbers with your CV or application answers. We arrange any necessary verification separately, with access restricted to authorised onboarding staff.

Independent subcontractors

Independent subcontractor businesses must provide insurance evidence before receiving work and maintain cover throughout the assignment. Our current minimum limits are £1 million public liability, £1 million products liability and £10 million employers’ liability, covering the agreed duties and including the required indemnity to principals.

Any exception, including an independent sole trader without employers’ liability insurance, needs written acceptance from AllScope’s insurer before appointment. Individuals working under AllScope’s direction follow our workforce insurance assessment and must be accounted for in our declared staffing.

Identity, right-to-work checks where applicable, written terms, safety induction and a signed-off assignment are also required before work starts.

Your applicant account

Create an AllScope applicant account with your email address and a private password, then upload your CV and complete your availability, travel area and experience. You can save progress and return before submitting.

Your CV stays private

Your CV and application are visible to you and authorised AllScope recruitment staff. Upload a PDF, DOC or DOCX file up to 5 MB. Please leave out identity documents, bank details, criminal-record information and DBS certificates.

What happens next

  1. We aim to review applications within one business day and clarify any missing information.
  2. We prepare a shortlist against the job requirements for a director to review and interview.
  3. Suitable finalists may be offered a short paid practical assessment once its time, supervision and funding are confirmed.
  4. At the conditional-offer stage, we arrange identity, right-to-work and role-appropriate DBS verification, insurance checks where relevant, written terms and induction. AllScope must approve these before any customer assignment starts.

Applications are not rejected solely by an automated score. A person makes the interview and appointment decisions.

Controller and contact. AllScope FM Ltd, company 16918865, 1711 High Street, Solihull Business Centre, Knowle, Solihull, B93 0LN. For recruitment or privacy requests, email admin@allscopefm.co.uk. Updated 9 October 2026.

What we use and why. We use your account details, CV, application answers, correspondence and relevant selection notes to assess job suitability, contact you and manage recruitment. We rely on our legitimate interest in recruiting suitable people, while considering applicants’ rights. Necessary later checks may also involve steps before a contract or legal obligations. We request only information relevant to the role. We discuss any adjustment information privately and handle it separately with the appropriate basis.

Tools and people. The AllScope portal uses your email and a password to identify your account. Application records and private CV files are stored using the portal’s Cloudflare database and file storage. Only you and authorised recruitment staff can access your CV through the portal. Our Google Workspace Gmail inbox handles recruitment correspondence. Relevant application information may be summarised with OpenAI tools to assist the recruitment team. People handling recruitment check summaries against the original application; a director decides the shortlist and appointment. These service providers may process information outside the UK. Contact us for details of the recipients and applicable transfer arrangements. Identity and bank documents, criminal-record information and DBS certificates are not requested through this initial application route. Before any DBS verification, we provide a separate vetting notice explaining the purpose, lawful basis, necessary information, access and retention. We assess the need for each check and request only the level the role permits; permission to arrange a check is separate from the lawful basis for handling the information. Certificates and detailed suitability assessments are kept out of the general application and client portal; authorised staff retain only the necessary verification and decision records under the separate notice.

Retention. The recruitment team reviews retention and deletes unsuccessful or withdrawn applications, CV files and selection notes six months after the recruitment round closes or the application is withdrawn, unless a specific legal need requires limited longer retention. Necessary successful-candidate information transfers to employment records under a separate staff notice. If you separately opt in to future opportunities, we keep your application for six months from that choice; you can withdraw it at any time. Declining has no effect on this application.

Your rights. You can ask to access or correct your information and, where applicable, request deletion or restriction or object to processing. You can withdraw any future-pool consent. Email the business inbox to exercise these rights or raise a concern. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
